Which broker do you know of that has the most deepest liquidity..more banks..most liquidity providers..what brokers do you know? please list
there's not any guarantee that somebody will be ready to take the other side of your discontinue commerce at the price you want, so the slippage will happen when the price jumps across your stop price absolutely no way to avoid this and in volatile moments the jumps will be bigger giving bigger slippageOriginally Posted by ;
... that leads to the next interesting question: Is a stop order managed as a market or a limit order?
Well it certainly wouldn't hurt to be joined to the broker with the deepest and farthest reaching liquidity is it?
A stop order is sent to market @ market in the event the bid/ask is quotes in the stops price.Originally Posted by ;
When it was sent as a limitation (@ x price or even better) youpersonally;
a. would probably not get the price that you want since the market is moving the other direction (stops favorably induce market movements thus the slippage)
b. will get slipped massively AND need to close out the transaction manually supposing the market keeps moving.
OK that makes sense. Is that the situation with every Broker?Originally Posted by ;
Now this contributes to the next question: Is it possible to ship the stop order as a limit order instead of a market order? What I mean by that is, a order which is observable in the order book?
That part of you article does not make sense for me, because a limit order will likely be implemented at the entered price since the order is in the orderbook. In my understanding, that slippage you explain may occur to market orders, but not to limit orders.Originally Posted by ;
Here is an example: Let's say you enter a 20 Lot sell Limit EURUSD Order @ 1.31052, observable in the orderbook. Now there will be no slippage on this trade, no matter how fast the market is moving. The order will always be implemented @ 1.31052, since another trader delivered a market order against my sell Limit order
If you are trading 10's of millions, possibly hundreds of millions, then you want a bank that's a broker too.
If trading less than 10 million dimensions account, any major broker will do.
More liquidity will mean getting your order filled. . Can anybody name any? That takes us customers?
Any major broker in a well regulated jurisdiction can serve your requirements. You keep mentioning you will need liquidity, however you don't say just how much, therefore I can not see anybody naming a broker for your requirements without more information.
