Thanks for the reply , it always comes down to the person who's trading it. I went and my TP at 1.4820 was struck. I was thinking I need to move it up and put an SL in to safeguard myself but I was happy with the profits.

I'd be going short and possibly to 1.4500s, but I moved short EJ instead.

    Good luck, and happy trading!

    Hi ,
    below are my current charts.
    Weekly, Daily Hourly.
I'm currently short at a few levels and will reevaluate as we go. .

I typically favor short term trades but've been in this for a day and just a bit.
Have added as price went up and taken profit where I really could.
Bottom line is currently in the red but I'm working on it

    cheers and happy trading. .

Me also find longer term moves safer than intrad day transactions. But fix my longer term transactions for intra-day activity i.e. fine tuning sl, tp, temporary closing either to prevent news spike or require a little profit, re-adjustment of entrance loion etc.. To put it differently, do not keep standing right in front of a forthcoming bullet only since it's long-term trade.

Hourly chart about six hour prior to NFP.

For me, it is hard to trade a news, I find myself going against the transfer. Therefore, stay away from the news.

I don't understand where we will be following the news, but looking at 1.4950 from NY open.

I'd be going brief and maybe to 1.4500s, but I went brief EJ instead.

    Good luck, and happy trading!
I think you did the right thing. Market is holding your additional pips outside 1.4820. It is a river we come to drink from when thirsty and as far as we can at a time.

    Thank you for sharing Forextine.

    You too.

Daily chart, Tuesday Nov 10, at Asia open (2 hours before Tokyo available)

Kindly note red lines are NOT exact price levels (support/resistance/historical price marks, etc), just the points at which these lines have been drawn.

I'm going with the flow of this market that's down, appearing at 1.4500 for tp and sl in 1.4850. May close or change the situation based on market situation.

ps. Red line labels aren't price levels but points at which these lines are drawn. I don't believe in perfection.
I like the channel. Confirms my trading pattern.

Upper border of every trend line is coming. Price action should hit in the 1.40's
