Thread: Real Fx traders do not use stoploss

  1. #71
They state there's no wrong or right approach to trade as long as you are making money on your account, prevent losses are allways advoed because it is the only way you can limit your risk, I think it is foolish to trade with no sl, there is no way anyone can be 100% sure the market will not undo, anything could happen anytime, the market allways does it's thing even when you are 100% sure that it will not.

    Thanks for your reply Senior
It's my caution, I am playing with 'accumulation egy'.
The clue of this kind of egy is money management.

Where are those imitation 'actual' traders that trade without even stoplosses.I dare you to exchange without stoploss again. With EuroChf decreasing 3000 pips r.i.p for your forex accounts.i wish swissy rally got you naked with no SL . lol

True!, there are several PRO traders I've seen who exchange without SL, however their transactions hardly last for few minutes. They enter greatly and therefore are glued to their screens if their transactions are operating, as I said which hardly lasts for few minutes. But it's a risk hoping to exchange without SL.

Even if a trade goes againt you wait patiently for it to recover, even though it is going to take weeks you wait patiently,
Maybe that's why the large players really earn money in Forex. They don't take out mad levels of leverage hoping for a big payday. If a trade goes against them, they are not as inclined to get whipsawed if they aren't stopped out. Stop losses also permit you to get more transactions so you lose more cash to the disperse.

When I think back to my own ups and downs trading. . .my most effective and most stressful times has been when I traded without losses in place.

    Every trader to their own.

I understand that if I am out of the computer, I am certainly entering a stop loss but otherwise it'd be nice to trade with no one if I can be there and watch the trades.

It should be the other way round. Real FX Traders use stop losses. Personally, I use stop loss and yes, I'm a real FX trader. The main reason for stop losses is to stop the degree of loss from growing until it gets too big, or even better still to stop the loss in the amount of your own liking. That's why they say, when you enter Forex, you must be prepared to lose the money that you put in. This why FX trader control the amount they are prepared to shed by using stop losses. Otherwise you would have to see all of your transactions 24/7 minute by minute based on you trading period frame.
