Some news about regulation - CryptoUK, a self-regulatory firm for businesses involved with cryptocurrencies the members of which include some major cryptocurrency exchanges,

The request is for the fiscal Conduct Authority (FCA) to start overseeing what are frequently called #8220;entry degree#8221; companies #8211; exchanges requiring fiat currencies payments for the purchase of cryprocurrencies. According to the proposition, this should be performed under the existing peer-to-peer finance legislation rather than the rules applies for financial market intermediaries.

I never thought I #8217;d see the day when cryptocurrency exchanges ask for regulation.

    I had been there

Any Union, principles, principles etc are created for common good.
Tomorrow with regulations these mad-dog pump and dump sick events will reduce, the large shareholders will encounter....and actual expansion start.

I concur about regulations, I'm just surprised when businesses themselves ask for these. It is usually clients.

NYT 5/8/18: Some of the biggest names on Wall Street are warming around Bitcoin, a digital currency that for almost a decade was consigned to the unregulated fringes of the monetary world.

The parent firm of the New York Stock Exchange was working on an online trading platform which would allow large investors to buy and hold Bitcoin, according to emails and documents seen from The New York Times and four people briefed on the attempt who asked to stay anonymous because the plans were still confidential.

Https://, came after Goldman Sachs using its intention to open up a Bitcoin trading platform -- most likely the very first of its kind at a Wall Street bank.
