Thread: Good, Bad and Ugly....

    I will remain for a wile with forex.com...
    one last question, all of the additional transaction platforms during news launch, become TERRIBLE SLOW? I can live with that, however, just curious.
    Now by way of instance, forex.com was damn too slow compared with yesterday and the FOMC statement. I simple took just 1 minute to open the transaction (LONG AT 1.2919, 4 pips slippage)... and another minute to shut it....
    Anyway, your right men, I'll begin to live with those things., and 10 pips? 20 pips? Is no big deal in this kind of news...
    Thx!!

    I'm so new at forex it isn't amusing, but I must wonder about trading around the news anyway? I have heard some of the more recognized pros discuss averting trading around the news.

    Wouldn't it be better to already be in position based on a carefully chosen approach to the market, or if not than to wait patiently until the herd rushes in/out of the market based on a knee-jerk response?
    Why be part of the herd? Daily, I presumed methodical and patient won?

    Properly, trading is part art, part science.

    Trend following, in reality IS being part of the herd. . .but isn't that a great thing?

    Look, what your suggesting sounds great on paper, but in all practical appliions, how often can you get a surprise at the statement? If you're able and it moves against you, what could you do?

    The best guie for newbies is to understand to feel the mood of the market. It will help with your trend following techniques. News plays can be incorporated into your trading plan if and only in the event that you understand what sort of impact various scenarios will have. Additional you absolutely need to expect the worst in those types of trading circumstances. Your broker will look as the devil. . .but you need to realize that it is not 100% their fault. . .you need to appear internally for the problems. . .don't undertaking. Adapt and you'll earn money.

    I had the same problem this morning as well!! lt;? Xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice /gt;lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Buy order in at 1.2727 order packed at 1.2755 lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    If the fed announcement came out I hit the buy button 5 time to get in and got in at 1.2883 -50 that day. I have a small account and that I ask if I was trading with more cash could I've gotten faster they stated maybe.lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Profit stands behind the disperse however becoming ur order filled when u want them to in another narrative!!!!!

    I've an account with FXsol and their good besides on major new statement that the spread can reach 25 apart but also the platform and charting package is simple and I like that u may hedge, fix ur margin and pip from the platform.lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;
