Thread: trading together

I was thinking how we could improve our performance if we trade together.
I believe I've debate about why we must share our expectations.

We are agents of different countries: US, UK, Japan and so Forth. We have distinct plogy and habits. Each of us trades based on their own expectation about market and sometimes our expectations are indistinguishable. What I mean is that if our expectations are identical we can consider that the majority of traders in the world believe so. Selecting is the well-known procedure of statistical investigation. Consider that we are agents of groups of traders and one dealer from one group represents whole bunch.
Now consider what moves currency market. Market moves is caused exclusively by traders' choices. Nothing can move currency exchange except traders' orders.
So as traders make their decisions based on their beliefs we can find this out choices easily.

Let us just try. Lets all members offorexintuitivewrite somewhere their expectations and market entry points (cease orders). And if this expectations are indistinguishable we have great image of this market.

    Opinions please!

    thanks

Aren't we doing something like this in Journal Factories !? and the Chart

I agree that we want a little more non US representation. I was looking for a UK pundit to rally ideas from. I appreciate that traders are following the interest levels but I am also searching for remarks on the housing market, unemployment, trade bal, inflation etc..

Same for Europe, Japan, Australia from individuals from these regions.

I understand that if I actually wanted to I could see alot of dull financial data and / or post on other forums but I'd be more interested in readers opinions here to be honest.

Merlin Nader have got the US covered pretty well. So thats a fantastic start!

If everyone is trading on different time frames, 777, if most of us post our entry, stop etc , how would that work? A number of us are a long term, short term, most are in the middle someplace.

We can, nevertheless, create polls that let members vote bullish or bearish on every currency. That way we can find an overall feeling of where the collective group is leaning.

Merlin and I agree. It is pretty tough to create trade opinions from everyone over here. But, it's still possible to get overall opinions and tips concerning the different currency pairs, indices of different markets, futures and commodities, etc.. .But this will be mainly long-term perspectives and opinions since short term predictions will vary widely between different traders over here due to different trading zones, fashions and so on.

    Thanks,

    Nader
