Understanding the 3 Level ZZ semafor

Hey,
I need help understanding exactly what this indior does: The 3 Level ZZ Semafor.
I can't read MQL so I can't really understand it from the MQL file.

I understand it paints three degrees of ZigZag.
Can someone tell me what that means exactly?
And I read someplace it is predied on the Fractals indior.

What amounts of zig zag does this think about as 1,2 and 3?
Is it distinct time period or is it distinct swing heights?
I do know the zig zag indior.
