Live EAs not placing orders when they should?

Over the past few weeks I have had an ea running reside with a couple of brokers. Obviously the results are not the same but I would expect them to be in precisely the same ballpark. However 1 broker will not put an order when it should and today, the broker put an order for .01 units instead of .53. Naturally it was a winning order so I am disappointed.

Once the problem was just with one broker I guessed it was a broker dilemma but I am wondering whether there's some type of a glitch in MT4?
