Incidentally, ever heard the story of this poor guy asking as his reward in the wealthy man, only 1 cent every day but doubled each day for the entire month of May? The wealthy man laughed at the poor guy's low self esteem. He was not laughing on the 31st of May, when he had to hand around $6 million into this poor guy.
Math Foreign Exchange can be complied.
    Nice job!
You have told what I need to say.

    Hi FCX,

it is fairly a fascinating experiment u r doing and that I hope u a success.

The only tip I have is when I watched your previous trades - you only long Euro ... This might be a fantastic egy at this stage because euro appears to be rather strong since April. However you might need to consider to take trade either side instead of just long. Considering that your experimentation can last 6 months long, an individual should consider either side of commerce.

Anyway. I hope you have good success.

    Hey Puppy,

Long isn't some egy I've. It just so happens that I have went for nearly all them. I could be wrong, although I believe I've got 1 or two shorts in there for this experiment.

I'm working on a program that defines big movements and alerts me via audio systems throughout my property. I'm tired of missing all of the moves that are good!

Thanks for your attention and support!

    STEP 7: COMPLETED (6/06/06):
    4,000 S 1.2747 - S 1.2742 - 5 pips
    4,000 B 1.2742 - S 1.2747 - 5 pips
    4,000 S 1.2875 - B 1.2871 - 4 pips
    4,000 S 1.2868 - B 1.2863 - 5 pips
    4,000 S 1.2857 - B 1.2852 - 5 pips
Remarks: Still carrying a poor trade... but I am sure it'll be corrected in time since we return up. I may or may not finish step 8 prior to that.

    Profit: $9.60 (0.40/pip)
    Previous account balance: $170.00
New account balance: $179.54(gained .29 in premiums)

    Hi FCX,

Really like your thread and Thought.

Worried about the bad trade you're holding on. What if it does not come round and keeps moving south (or north, you understand exactly what I believe !! ) .

Certainly it could wipe out your account...?

Intense example of exactly what I mean is that you can open opposite trades on a currency with no stops and constraints of 50. One will get struck soonish, along with the other may never get struck (or maybe not for year/months), but during that stage might mount a monstrous paper loss. The distinction between realized and unrealized pl is important I think using sustainable trading.

or am I missing the point...?

    cheers

    GO FCX!!!!
Entirely ripping it dude. Keep it up!

When you receive the1,000,000. You need to hold a massive party somewhere and invite all of your fellowforexintuitivecompadre's.

    Rusty.

P.S. Also worried about this bad transaction your holding. If its going to wipe out one or two measures, thats not too bad. Another consideration I have with your setup in the experimentation, is you've set a time restriction. I.e. to be finished within a year. In the past I often go wrong when I put time constraints on myself, cause I maintain bad trades. etc..

I guess - eliminate the bad transaction on any fall out via any major service points. Re-gather your remaining pips, and go from there.

But we've got faith in you - I will know you will keep it all together! 3

I certainly agree with you. My balance is not my balance. . I will keep the equity. Don't want a gigantic (-$1,000,000) P/L floating around once my balance reaches a million!

For right now, I'm looking at odds. . Can it attain the mid 1.2900's again? Or will my account be drained since it went down to 1.2514? I'm willing to bet we'll see the highs again, and if not... then I'll have a loss. I'd like to think that I'm only doing so while the account value is low to avoid taking losses. . But you can bet that I will not play around like this with real cash. After I enter the 1000's... you'll most likely see 1-2 trades tops earning my 24 pips, as I'll only place trades when we're on a huge movement. I'm working on a platform now that I don't have to think about being on the computer all of the time that alarms me.

    Hey rusty,

Certainly! We will have a projection screen using the GTS platform on there since I am getting my million dollar pip .

As I mentioned in my last post, I will be a little more careful. . And be a cease joyful once the account grows. Losing it now wouldn't be a big issue, but losing $10,000 into irresponsibility would!

Didn't expect to see so much of a fall. Stops have been put in place as a resort for the trades that are bad I am holding. Stops set to sell 1 lot at a time starting at 1.2745, subsequently 1.2735/25/15. Those levels are reached by HOPING for a swing in leadership.

When the stops are triggered, I'll re-fund the account and begin the experiment from the current step with a tiny lesson learned. If they're not reached, I'll see step 8. I'll also be careful about falling into this kind of situation. (how a Lot More times will I have to say that? )
