Learning is the very facet of forex trading and is rightly said that constantly trade by learning about the run. Learning while trading can supply you with real imprint of this market and makes you know practically what have you learn. Together gaining expertise along with learning is significantly more beneficial or you'll be able to say effective than mere having theoretical understanding.

Absolutely! It's necessary to take your mind off from trading sometimes. People go mad watching charts and finish making a hasty movement.

I really don't know about going mad, but the risk of burning emotionally is very real. It is with every job, really, trading is just the same.

Really. It's what attracted me to trading in the first loion. I already saw myself selling currywurst on the streets and on festivals (I make a great sauce!) . I was in my late twenties and that I was completely burnt out from conducting an engineer office - customers, business partners, investors ... you guys actually think trading is hard and stressful? I have never lived better and more relaxed than I do now. I can sleep during the night I will wait somewhere without internet/cell telephone reception for hours without going crazy that s.th. Might fail in the company, I'm not concerned about competition or 1001 items I can not control.

My advise regarding emotions fooling you to revenge or boredom transactions: talk to your self. It really helps in the event that you hear the nonsense that is happening within your mind. I stopped smoking (long ago) and at some stage I found myself believing you haven't had a fag for 14 days, you should reward yourself with one. The sober portion of my head was like Jens hear yourself, you're going bonkers.

    I have been aroundforexintuitivefor 10 years. .

I have seen members going insane. Heading off the wheel, negative projections, stupid random posts/threads. .

    It is real guy. .

I keep myself sane with all the gym and religious moments. .

Additionally doens't hurt to have blunts from time to time...

You know what's the best way to avoid distress? To exchange with the amount of money that you can afford to lose. When you exchange with hard earned money, or even the cash you lended from the bank, the feelings are gonna destroy you. You can not behave like a robot when really important money is at stake.

It is of course impossible to disagree with that, I think/talk in my own experience, that the challenge is a bit more complex. Even once you have enough in the bank to endure a couple of years, even once you know it is easy to live off your somewhat safe rental income from your completely paid homes it's still a plogical trouble if you see that the position is increasing or decreasing by 200 dollars per pip or longer. My solution was to conceal that money column (I already mentioned that a few times here).
Your argument makes great sense from the logical financial negative but it does not handle the perceived value of that money and the permanent visibility of the PL (which is unnecessary for most trading systems anyhow) in several trading software is a constant reminder.

That is really unfortunate. I hope that those people are better today.

They will feel more better if they set out their feelings from trading, IMO!

Perhaps. What was described, however, sounded like people were having some sort of nervous breakdown, which is not easy to recover from, unfortunately.
