Thread: Can someone explain this type of market movement?

That is fair enough and I did not mean to be an a$$. I see a response to a newbie who might think that's the way to exchange. A spike entry on a 5 minute chart isn't sound advise to a newcomer. I had been more lookin out for the new guy than attempting on you.

I mean if you chose that trade then I stand . But I still tell the new guy, Do not try this at home

What would you believe if a breakout of this range to the upside happens? So far as I know, if I've a position and I want to close that place I must buy an equal amount of the same currency pair to lessen my brief position to zero.

Let us take this on the case in this subject. Price was going at a range for hours, traders at a place found that price failed to create new lows. Shorts became fearful and close their rankings (they have to buy an equal amount of the same currency pair to lessen their place to zero, to do this ) At the end a breakout to the upside happened where more and more new buyers came into the market. Long story short; this is in my view what the cause is of this imbalance between buyers and sellers. More and more shorts who close their positions, and more and more new buyers on the market at precisely the exact same moment. The breakout functions in my view such as a alyst, and therefore if a person can determine this moments in the markets he's got this to practice at home, then to try at home.

That I have no doubt you know what I am saying but the subject starter asked an explanation for the move in rather simple terms, which is mine.

Inside my eyes is trading like this picture, some people today see a young woman, some an old woman. Not everybody see both ladies at precisely the exact same moment, and therefore; can't take both into account.

Wow... truly there are lots of different ways to interpret market motion and rather tough to discover a definitive answer methinks.

The reason why I asked this question, indeed the question I asked when I saw my first Forex chart 3 or 3 years back, is what makes the market move? Of course nowadays I have some vague thoughts about this having analyzed VSA to a point, obtained some mentoring within this way of distributing market motion and this was cited concerning buyer, vendors etc..

What most interests me about this motion is that the very deliberate and'clean' strong movement firstly up to a very clear resistance level (the day's earlier top) and then down to a service level from about a week before.

I feel it is rare that individuals around the forums REALLY know what's happening behind currency motion, they are few are far between. My view is that a motion such as this is quite literally a deliberate action by some person/institution/group of associations to move price to some predetermined agenda.

I am not worried about being wrong about this and would not be amazed as I am a mainly dumb trader. The discussion was interesting and I remain curious about market motion which is the'deliberate' moving of price between degrees, and terms, quite literally, how this happens.

Again I've already told you what triggered the first portion of the move, there is no room for doubt that it was a headline driven move. There wasnt somone behind it beginning to buy deliberatly. What's impressive after telling somebody the truth of what occur, is, folks believe it. They still think there is something suspecious. .

I see this as a tug of war involving short-term traders and longer duration position takers.

News comes out and short term day traders bought it, they are natural sellers (to shut their possies) plus after some time the price level gets through to the loner term players who have been selelrs in preceding sessions anyway who then react to some high advertized price as a present to sell into. Their selling plus the day traders closing longs by marketing, sends the market back where it came from a few.

Longer term sellers are even more confident today, seeing that price probes higher get rejected and we find them promoting in later sessions. Any market's purpose is to facilitate volume or trade. Price has to move to areas to observe where the volume is, and then has to go far to obtain an unfair price. Rinse and repeat etc

Range breakout is, in reality, a valid signal in many cases. This specific one was suspicious, but the well thought out explanation is valued.

Thanks....yeah my hunch was this needed to be a news triggered move, but I didn't find it with all the tools that I currently use when I back assessed news events at this time.
