Yes, you're correct. It may in ranging conditions, whipsaw in and out you terribly.

So far as using it at a EMA crossover: I would normally only open on the crossover in the event the SAR was encouraging the entry. Otherwise, wait for one time and re-eval.

I've a friend who has assembled an whole system on the SAR and seems to have reasonable success. I, myself, have only used it as brief term support/trend indior.

He was really defensive regarding the flooring traders but remember this guy has erased all types of emotion from trading and I guess anyone who comments on his systems who posesses a degree of fundamental theory will have their comments dismissed by De Mark.
In his world Math never lies why hedge?

Remember, all we're doing is seeking to put the odds in our favor. As soon as you've then set up, as long as you're consistant with your own system for entrance and exit your consistency for winning trades will accompany suit.It is the hunt for a better concept that dissrups our decision not weather we're wrong or right. If I use a system that has proven for me to produce a 75% or greater win ratio why do I alter it?
Most of us have things that work for us but for some what we hear from other people is enough to dissregard people%s and look in a different direction. The reason I like to base all I do on math is becaus no matter what anyone shows me in the form of another concept, if it doesnt add up in number form I look off.

Math never lies and the markets are driven by math and only interupted by fundamentals.

apologies for jumping on your ribbon, adam. Keep in mind the suggestion I made a few days ago for the euro. . ?

Consider the entrance line and point confluence, however note how large the stop is (100 points).

Now follow a new rally and await the lineup, taking some profit along the way of course!

Btw, I use daily charts but it is possible to bring down the lines to 4h if you would like.

Editgt; the shaded boxes would correspond to the buy on rolls I emphasized on a copy of your chart earlier.
