Practicing on demos is much better and wise choice, but still have noticed traders use a demo account for weeks and also make gains and month of live account shed lots.
I also have seen opposite.

92014On the transition from demo to reside account, yes some traders do end up making a loss when they proceed live..usually that could be a result of the fact they still have lots to learn and have not yet developed a egy to trade with. .
92014I think that is fine if you want to learn using a demo account but it has to be for a short time. Is better to learn funding your account with $100 and start trading even if you loose your money because demo and real accounts aren't the same. You need to see it.
92014Demo accounts are only beneficial to get to know the software and for complete newbies to find out whether trading is.
Proceed as fast as possible to real cash.
Oh, and throw off the EA, they are all crap
92014I'll second that - all ea's suck and they are designed to make money but for the programmer. .
92014... for your seller/marketer would be the right sentenceOriginally Posted by ;
92014Well, they don't all suck, only 99% of them there are plenty of useful EA's. I have a few that I have used previously - one for example closes every transaction you've got open.

That is why you see a lot of MT4 Developers in this forum. Those guys never EVER Trade LIVE and they were never able to make a living off FX, for a period longer than 3 weeks they make cash coding materials and MT4 indiors. Truly crazy.

There is a great great difference between the EAs sellers/marketers and the programmers who code tools for their individual customers.
