Thread: We Are The 1%

This poll, the consequences of it so far and some or the responses here, simply demonstrate how far wannna be traders lie to themselves and others online. (And why you need to take everything written on forum with a grain of salt)

17, 1 percent, 12, 99 percent....lol certain. 1 man even counted himself at the 1 percent simply because he keeps failing and returning.

1 percent is that the very profitable traders, you are not just 1%er unless you are a millionaire....demo doesn't count turning a 10$ account into a 100$ doesn't count.

LOLOLOL exactly what a bunch of liers, can't even tell the truth to themselves.

That is a fantasy which keeps spreading as even marginally profitable traders like to believe they are members of some especial elite.
Same thing goes for IBFX . .those stats are just for 90 days..after 6 mo's the amount jumps to 90% losers, but they won't let you know the facts about that..and after 2 yrs 99 percent lose..after 5 yrs. . .Its pure logic..if 70% lose in 90 days, 90 percent will lose in 120 days..to think otherwise is foolish.

Ever wonder why men open brokerage companies? They will tell you they are master traders. They have to love to take care of the countless questions and complaints from newbie's. .why do not they just hire their best traders and close shop and exchange for a living lol. Thus far, in the voting, 19 have claimed to maintain the 1 percent group..and we all know traders do not lie.

I work fulltime in real estate investment, and officially joined the top 1 percent this year. . .but in soul, I'm with the 99%. It is not correct that Wall Street uses politicians as sock puppets to rig the game, just as it's not right that the defence lobby does the same to get the US into costly wars that only profit them.

The thread title can be misinterpreted. I know the question being asked in the poll as to whether you're profitable or not profitable in trading. Not whether you're in the 1% most wealthy or at the top 1% earnings within your industry (ie property investment). Possibly the Occupy Movement montra of 1% versus 99 percent is what cause the confusion. The way the thread starter came up with 1% versus 99 percent as the ratio of successful to non-successful traders is beyond my comprehension. I really don't think anyone knows the actual answer. Some say it's 5 percent while others say it's more (or less). 1 thing that's certain is that the successful traders are in a minority.

I will say I am still a part of this 99%, although I am earning from forex trading but in my opinion I still lack the understanding to make a spot using the 1%, I still make some risks and lose some trades and need to discover more.

I agree that individuals who work hard on their egies have the right to NOT share it. A winning egy isn't easy to acquire. But people share tips and thats a lot of assistance.
