On my previous post I was trading a month, I endured reductions in October and November since I was trading too frequently and speculating (betting ). However, after being burnt I calmed down and now have a system which I'm just finely stripping and have been profitable in Dec, Jan and Feb bring my general loss back to violate even:--RRB-

As I'm still learning and very inexperienced I've been following several rules to help me conserve and recover my cash
    1. Only trade eurusd, my concept is to become familiar with a pair, rather than attempting to understand all of them and there interactions (at first anyway)
    2. Only open transactions between 7am - 3pm uk time
    3. If I'm unsure, do not trade
    4. Aim to shut all transactions by 5pm uk time
    5. Better to take a small profit than a large loss:--RRB-

Lets see what happens in the next 3 weeks

The best trader I know took 10 years to become profitable. Myself, I have a long way to go and still am in this business full time for five years. I read this thread and I really believe there are some fantasia about becoming profitable here... Of course there are plenty of smart people in this business that may read all of the books ever written about trading and learn to exchange. . But myself I feel that this reading is the capital sin of trading, because markets aren't rational, they are psychological... a trader must have a superior emotional balance to exchange profitable. . One could be a genius however if lacks this just one factor, he/she won't ever become a successful trader... till he sees it, and it takes some time.... All rational methods eat each other,,, to develop into profitable you have to think for yourself and stick to the fundamentals... I am here on this topic because sometimes I believe I won't ever get there, it isn't easy... As I told, I am a full time trader for five years and just NOW I believe I have an adequate trading strategy that I will attempt to put to practice and see if I could do it, also it is extremely subjective... The resilience required to be a trader would be the toughest of ... good luck
