Thread: Indior that makes a sound at close of candle

Hey guys, searching for an indior that plays a sound at the close of candle. When I am trading I am often doing other things too and this could be a handy tool to remind me to look back at the charts!

    Cheers,

Could not you simply set repeating alarms on your watch, clock, telephone, tablet - or am I missing something?

Put this in OnCalculate() of existing indior:

Inserted Code static datetime LastBar=0; if(Time#91;093;! =LastBar) PlaySound(tick.wav); LastBar=Time#91;0#93;; Or standalone indior attached below

I am using an Android program called https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ourlychime.pro (there's a free version). Extremely configurable.

It is possible to set it to fire a chime at almost any time frequency you can think of down to the moment. E.g. you can set it at (for example) each 13th (or some other strange non-standard) minute past each hour (or few hours).

I use it to chime a specific sound every 15minutes- and 45minutes- last every hourand also to chime another noise every 00minutes and 30minutes last every hour... all between 0600-1200 hrs local time, from Monday to Friday.

I also use it to fire off a certain sound every 4 hours to coincide with the creation of any new H4 candle.

Hope this is useful to somebody out there.

    Cheers!

You have also the choice to utilize the MT4 platform attribute directly. Go to the alert tab at the terminal and place the period of your alarms.

Of course if you're planning to be alerted every 5 minutes, an indior will be a much better idea since you will need some time to put all your alarms!
