Umm, by wave I suggest tendency on a larger TF, nothing like Elliot wave or things like this.

I understand - waves such as the oscillating nature of moving averages. But how do you get in and out at the very top or bottom without waiting and sacrificing all your profit?

Get in on the crossover, get out when it crosses back, or get out when it hits the desired risk/reward, as long as you've crunched the numbers and analyzed the data you should know what to do.

Getting in at the crossover and getting out when it crosses back is a losing egy. Countless individuals here have tried it and proven so. As long as you have crunched the numbers and analyzed the information is fairly obscure - are you saying you rely on fundamental news to find out which crosses you're choosing to enter on? What happens when you get a massive move from you and your lagging indior hands you a massive reduction because the cross did not finalize yet?

FWIW, hope it ceaseless and yeah, corny but all true - translated, even just a persistent DD trader will have hopes of making it big. . But a winning trader will have what it takes, to move ahead.
As for the components, begin with mentality and continue on to ability and an aptitude to learn and use knowledge. .
