If I trade bargains that are short-time it doesn't matters, or long-time, I prefer trading major pairs. Like eur/usd usd/chf. And in my experience a lot of traders do exactly the same, occasionally bargains can open on gold and oil, but it is more of a decisions, then a portion of my trading program.

A structure-based approach to trading this pair atm is in case the price action pulls back to the descending trendline (black) and turns around southward, confirming a 1-2-3 setup to get a sell trade. This is likely to provide impetus to get a bearish continuation.
