My job seems to be getting in the way of my trading, so that I thought I would get a device and run MT4 on it.
Has anyone used the handheld versions of MT4? Any experiences, is than another?
Thanks in advance.

There are 3 versions of MetaTrader4 Mobile CE is one of these. Check the website for the other two.
I use MT4 cellphone in my Audiovox XV6600. There a limitations of course since the size and the fact that more than 1 window can not be viewed by you or currency or span at one time. I use it to track. I really enjoy the XV6600 because it has more real estate than the majority of the PDAs/PPCs. The XV6600 in my view is not suitable as a telephone though it is possible to use it as either Pocket PC and a phone. The XV6600 is harder to loe the US and is far more popular in other countries under different brand names ( Harrier, iMAte, etc) Good luck.Originally Posted by ;
Use it all the time, great little platform. User friendly and convenient once you travel a lot but have those longer term trades that you want to keep track of.
Sorry I am technology impaired!!!!
Ok so it can be done and it looks like the platform is usable.
So.... For all of you USA people, what, how do I get the internet signal to the apparatus???? I am considering using a Treo and Verizon, but if I understand things right, I am highspeed broadband area which means transmition rates would be very slow invasive, in a non. I really don't know whether that could be a issue with the Metatrader mobile platform though.
Thanks for all the help.
My pda is your Sprint audiovox 6601. It uses the Sprint network for internet traffic. I can hook it direct to my laptop and surf along with my laptop if I need it. Just be sure that you do not depart the metatrader running all of the time as the battery will drain quickly. You cannot run custom indiors from what I have seen.
Lol sorry for creating this ribbon come alive. Last article was in 2006 but I didnt want to begin another thread. .
I wanted to know... can you operate the full model of metatrader on a notebook with Windows CE 5.0? Or can it run metatrader mobile??
thanks for any help
In spite of the slow link with Verizon I find it works ok. I have Sung and Verizon i730 Smartphone and have had no troubles. Great little platform with the basic indiors.Originally Posted by ;
