Thread: B Journal

This is my personal journal which I take my trades that are live.
Been trading Forex for 6 months.
I'd love to have my journal here for my mini account, hence here goes.
I'll be trying out my direction (DRT charts) for few transactions and if it goes well, I will see what else could I spin away out of here.

    Trade #1
    Brief GBP/USD
    Entrance: 1.9685
    Goal: 1.9475
    Stop: 1.9730

    Trade #2
    Extended USD/CAD
    Entrance: 1.1533
    Goal: 1.1674
    Stop: 1.1494

More details will be clarified later on.
To Understand: Use trailing stops out of Northpro.
This isn't a signal supplier, my transactions are absurd, don't follow.
Lot sizes will be explored in future. I doubt i will impliment different lot sizes.

It would look like there are many good traders and systems I had been studying trading from, time to time, like I follow through the journal.
From the development of the journal, I will see different things learned. Apart from Jacko's AH approach, other transactions I take are much smaller in size and not according to AH.

I'm reading this novel Trend following by M.W.C.

Many times I sound contradictory to myself personally, I would think that ignorant pays and if there is somebody that has been there done that, it is possible to point me out where to find out things.
I'm on the receiving end of the paragraph.

Quote: Most traders concentrate solely on how to enter and how to exit a market. Many will say, Hey, I've got a way to beat the markets because of this trading platform I have, it's right 80 percent of the time. It's only wrong 20 percent of the time. They will need to take a step back for a second and state. Okay. What does 80 percent mean? If 80 percent of the time, you do not win much, but 20 percent of the time that you eliminate a lot, your losses outweigh your gains though you're right 80 percent of the time. You must take the magnitude of wins and losses into account.

    -35pips
    Both were counter trend traders.
    WTD: -52pips
    MTD: -52pips

Almost forgot, this setup doesn't seem wise. Traded, so let journ it. No stage bluffing myself by leaving this trade out of journal for journal to look good.

    Trade #5 Brief GBP/USD
    Entry: 9727
    Target: 9655
    Cease: 9760

Barak, though every trader needs to develop their own style,I couldnt help but notice that u cut #3 brief. Your stop loss was put in -27 pips but u cut it off at -17 pips, only to jump right back in and brief again, why? What was your backtesting and forwardtesting outcomes? Are u comfortable with your R/R? Do u really believe in your own system? Im not trying to bring upside down, but these are some questions u must reply.

P.s- dont chase the market allow it to come to u!!!!!!
