Thread: Script to place Stoploss automatically

    Hi guys,

I'm considering to Switch from Instant Execution to Market Execution. However, the disavantage of Market Execution is you can't place stoploss when you place an order. It is going to be a disaster if you lose your internet connect immediately you put in the trade without stoploss.
I'm looking for an EA that may place stoploss instantly after enter the trade. I discovered that Visual Order Editor is quite helpful. Detail of Visual Order Editor, please check below link.

But, there are many alternative: SL, TP, BE.... I just need an EA that automatically places SL only.
BTW, an EA needs an incoming tick to excute while Scripts implement immediately and then be removed once implemented.

Can anybody help me to modify this EA into a Scripts with stoploss place only. Thank you Beforehand.

I think that your concern about dropping the relationship in the precise moment that leads to the problem you describe is just a little over blown. You can set any Hot Key to a script to get instant implementation. Whether it works quicker than double clicking is debatable.

As to attaching a script into a chart, that may be done. However, I personnally do not like doing this. It means placing an infinite loop in the code that checks for a few state every second or fraction of a second and setting the SL. I doubt if this is actually much quicker than double clicking.

EAs that instantly set the SL/TP are predied on a few sign that meets certian conditions, but it sounds like such an approach wouldn't be appropriate in your situation. There could possibly be an alternative to Visual Order Editor, but it will most likely have a feature you are dissatisfied with.

    EAs...
Thank you for your explaination. If that's the case, I will stick with immediate Execution. Although the probability of disconnection is extremely low, but I don't wish to take some risk with this error. Forget Market Execution.

    Good luck
Thanks for your proposal. I believe that it's comparable to Visual Oder Editor and the two of them aren't my taste.

    Hi experts,

I am trying to code this script. Refere in the lessons of Coder's guru.
This script works but I must double click the script once I enter the transaction.
I can not attach this script into the chart. How do I connect this cript to the chart and it'll place SL automatically whenever I open the transaction?

    Thanks!
