    I believe (in my view ),there ought to be do some revise about GMT time.
    I let my demo-accounts run for 24 hours every day. So time isn't a problem here. I have seen your most recent statement. Is it likely that you've changed the default settings in the EA?

    I let it go with the settings you give me.
    And I have to declare is, I will not be open my PC over 24h,I run it (9:00am-12:00pm GMT 8) per day maybe near my PC some time.

    Did it impact?

    This post is based on trading smaller and micro lots on a mini account with'InterbankFX'. I don't know whether it is applicapable to other mini accounts using a micro lot option.

    I am a bad cut and paste, trial and error developer so wait for other opinions before following my suggestions. There might be better or simpler ways to repair the issue.

    Having an IBFX mini account you enter lots=1.0 to trade a 10K lot, lots=0.10 to trade a 1K micro lot, and lots=0.01 to trade a 100 lot. You can't go out to some 3rd decimal or you get an error. I had to create a few changes in the parameters as noted in the zip file. I also set AccountIsMicro to untrue.

    IBFX mini accounts tag currency pairs'EURUSDm' instead of'EURUSD' like routine accounts. Phoenix needed the little am' added to every pair in the code to function with a mini account. See zip file.

    Phoenix has opened 3 transactions $400 lot each having a $250 balance because I made the changes to the currency names and the following changes:
    extern dual MaximumRisk = 0.19;
    lot=NormalizeDouble(AccountFreeMargin()*MaximumRis k/1000.0,2);
    if(lotlt;0.01) lot=0.01;

    MaximumRisk is 1 word above but I can't get it to stay together.
    Hello nvwine,

    I'd like to see additional improvements in your trading account using the IBFX 4 platform.

    Finally I have reached the last article of this BRILLIANT thread! I wished to get involved and share my ideas sooner but did not want to'cut in' before having read ALL the posts. And believe you me, it took me a while... Lacking some sleep... Not to worry however: it was more that worth it!

    To start off, I Feel that a THANK YOU is in order!!! Well done!lt;? Xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice /gt;lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Since I think everybody has contributed a great deal, and one person in particular, I find it my obligation to offer my help to help in any way possible. Unfortunately I am not a coder but I believe we can leave that bit up to Hendrick (he's not number 2 of this world for nothing!) . I am more than willing to do beforehand analyzing from now on (in the expectation my online connection does not fall out from today on. . -SIGH-).
    I have my laptop running 24/7 anyway so I put her to good use. Next week I will be getting my new computer and will be able to run ahead and/or backward evaluation as per petition (dual core also, so I'll inform you whether it's really better Hendrick!) .
    Just let me know how I can help!lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Just to begin on the ideal path: is your”Phoenix_4_CONTEST. Mq4” exactly the same as the 4.2 version that has been dispersed via PM to some, please? Didn't won't to trouble H. via PM about it until introducing myself here on forexintuitive.
    Rationale for me asking is that I have been doing quite a bit of back testing and can't seem to find exactly the same results as the posted statements with precisely the same settings, periods; although I get a modelling quality of 90%... Ideas are welcome!lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Hope your interview went well Hendrick, but I am convinced it did! Excited about your new thread on lt;? xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags /gt;lt;st1:City w:st=ongt;lt;st1lace w:st=ongt;Phoenixlt;/st1lacegt;lt;/st1:Citygt; 5! At least I'll be able to follow it in the beginning this time [Bedankt voor al het harde werk Hendrick!!!]
    Lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Finally; sorry for me making my first post on this forum a rather long , but only needed to ventilate my appreciation properly...

    PS: guess what? This thread has only discovered itself a different wine grinder -)lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Hi Vince! ,

    Obtaining different effects in back testing is really slightly weird. Should be the same. Only thing I can think of now is that you're using an older version of MT4. In MT4 visit Help and About. You should visit there (08 Sep 2006). In one of my previous messages I have posted a brief manual regarding back testing (ModellingQuality.pdf). Can it be any aid to you?lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    I am really quite interested if the Core two Duo will speed up testing in MT4.lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    If you are willing then please try to find the appropriate configurations for your EURGBP. I have still have not found these.lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    You have to PM me one of those days about you at the lt;st1:country-region w:st=ongt;UKlt;/st1:country-regiongt; but your heart still in lt;st1:City w:st=ongt;lt;st1lace w:st=ongt;Hollandlt;/st1lacegt;lt;/st1:Citygt;. Made me quite curious!lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;

    Take care Vince!lt;ogt;lt;/ogt;
