Thread: Decompiled code... stop posting it

I'd really like to learn about decompilation of ex4.
Not that I'm in any way interested in decompiling someone's code, but instead my own:
that's, I'd love to comprehend how and where (addresses) works like OrderSend and are called, so that I can call them directly from my
dll rather than routing via a script or ea like I must do right now.
Reverse the encryption so to speak, i.e. to observe the machine code transparent.
I know about a few inner mt4 message codes, however there is no illuions how to use them.
If someone knows about this stuff and would like to talk about, it would be appreciated.

yes, as cyber said, you aren't going to learn everything you're after by getting a hold of decompiled code. Because ex4 is just p-code (not machine code) there probably isn't any pleasant and effortless means of doing what you want.... Or again, there just might be and somebody else would need to speak-up and say how. If the mql machine happens to use the windows message system, which I highly doubt, then you could possible simply send some windows messages and be done with it. But again, that's unlikely. Maybe there's some memory you can inject values into within mt4, but that's unlikely and you will probably just end-up breaking shit.

Chances are you will just need to do it how you currently are and just interface with your dll's etc via mql code. It's certain to be simpler that way nonetheless.

I see. Thanx guys for clarifying that. So, yea if it's just some intermediate code it's no use for me. I will have to try to hook into mt4 and see what I can get out this way.

I have to agree 100% with your comments. You are on both sides of angelsout of step with the online generation and doomed to disappointment. By Internet generation I am not speaking about an age group and I don't want to come off as a few old fogie. The online generation would be the individuals of all ages involving my peers who embraced the newest things as quickly as they could and tried to be the leaders of their new culture while turning their backs on what they were taught or used to trust. It began with stealing then movies music and now appliions. The entire time these people think that they are right and causing no harm and those who object are stuck at the old from date ways.

Equally as upsetting to me as the theft aspect, is that the concurrent trait of the powerful sense of entitlement. Criticizing someone who is not willing to talk about as a evil being is just repugnant to me. A good example of this is the anticipation that my labour ought to be shared publicly amoug the broadest possible audience, since hey we're all here to help each other, are not we? . I doubt if most of these individuals have a clue about what they will eventually end up with - inferior products made by fair people.

The irony in all this to me is that the spread of Communism ideals in the online generation. The thoughts they espouse of sharing what and paying nothing could have got me branded as a Commie in my younger days. And seeing how miserably, the Communist system (think Cuba, North Korea) neglected I am not going to become a Communist in old age in order to be in tune with the online generation. I understand I am fighting a lost cause, however it is righteous. Software thieves beware. And one last thought - perhaps a bit of good old fashioned Commie bashing is what is needed.
