Thread: Is it possible for MT4 programmers to hack into other trader accounts

Is it possible to hack in the order amount and change the order form of a losing trade to a winner.
Ex. If you place a BUY and its not making a profit. Hacking to it and shift into a SELL order?

    Possible?

Now that would be the Holy Grail of hacking if at all possible.

Even if you can, I am certain that brokers would have an audit course to ch you.

Why in earth you want change a single trade after hacking brokers, isn't it easy to add few 0's to your own balance than manipulating trade?

Directly manipulating your MT4 account is impossible unless you gave someone your password and he wouldn't have to do that through an indior.

If the indior references an external DLL, then it is possible to do almost anything on the server computer including deleting documents and capturing keystrokes. I am not certain how he'd get your password, unless you change between accounts. MT4 attempts to protect against it by making DLLs a user option. I won't use an indior with a DLL unless I completely trust the writer. Be suspicious of any indior with a DLL.
