Thread: optimizing my reverse candlestick closing egy

  1. #1
    Hello Forum,

im wanting to optimize my egy and wanted to ask you for assistance.
Its a very simple egy, if a candle closes: open in the reverse direction (The stop is that the timeframe you started the candle) (no take profit or stopp loss*) he closes at the close of the timeframe

I obtained outcomes of 51 percent to 49%
that signifies not a true major profit (disperse makes it even harder)

now I wanted to start a conversation if we can filter somehow tendencies or trending candles? Does anyone has a good idea maybe?

My idea was to maybe add an RSI to the candles and set period 2! and range 70 OB 30 OS.
That could work but I dont have the filter at the EA right now
cause of the rsi all goes in same way that hold on longer are blocked out so the% could potential rise?

Does anyone wann join the disucussion and find ways? I will share my EA also

    regards

thanks. Which direction would I open if I wait until price goes back to launching of previos candle? Sounds interesting. .

Watch the gold dotted lines? They would be entries.

reversed means if the final candle was a brief you go long

Filtered dependent on wpr and MA. Above 15SMA wpr over -50 Only long. And vise versa for shorts. Why only these 4? I'm sure there are more, but I am too lazy
