Thread: Maximize / minimize chart with double click

Coded this trifle for my own needs.
Maybe someone working with a multi-chart design could like it so I chose to post it.
Belongs to MQL4\Indiors and does exactly what thread title states.
    DLLs must be allowed.

Thank You to This indior. It has made life a lot more easy.

Is there a way to assign a hotkey to this or change it to some triple click or even middle click?

I have just one problem with it and that's makes things tricky when it comes to drawing on charts (such as flat lines rtc)

    Thats brilliant.
Is it possible to adjust to a particular size(s) of this Chart?
Lets say I Double-click the Chart as opposed to Chart-window has to a specific size (therefore not the entire maximazation)
    Thank you for an information.

That would be an superb feature too. Sometimes MT4 skews the chart when the resolution is large.

I really don't believe double left click would be the ideal trigger, however, especially if you like to doodle on charts or utilize some other order manager scripts.

Just one middle click to max and minimise would be great or even a hotkey.

A double right click might also work nicely.

What can you say about this modifiion?
I added a delay between clicks, so if you're more sensitive/less sensitive with your clicks you could change it.
I also added an option for a triple click instead of a double click.

Just see the input parameters when loading the indior.

Cheers, the click appears very useful.

A single centre click to maximum and minimise could be fantastic or even a hotkey. A right click may do the job well.
    1. Double right click - The constraints of MT4 do not let me use right click as a trigger, because it loads a context menu and quits the Indiors's performance before this menu is released.

    2. Middle click - It is a potential, but MT4 just lets it with mix to a mouse movement. So it might not be quite as convenient to click the middle mouse button and then move the mouse simply to alter chart appearance. Or perhaps I'm mistaken. . .it may be just like an Android gesture.

    3. Hotkey - I have not looked at this option yet and how do a hotkey be inserted, but at least here's your list of hotkeys available in MT4, there are a number of which are useful and I wasn't aware of: https://paxforex.com/metatrader4/mt4.../hot_keys_list

    Excellent.

You can actually use a third party program to automatically assign a keyboard hotkey to it. I use one called relaxation keys.

So if the activity has been a single Middle Click, you can then assign a keyboard hotkey to it. Unfortunately you can't assign a hotkey to a double / triple click as far as I understand.
