EA is a script. But automaticaly executed at each market tick.
Hi, therefore if I have a straddle script trade at particular time, once I run it will execute, should I need it to execute another moment,I only run it again right?Originally Posted by ;
But for EA, How can it execute at different target time?
I don't know if this will clarify or confuse.Originally Posted by ;
A script operates through once. Perhaps you've got a script that will close all open orders. You execute it, it will exactly the task and stops.
An indior program runs through the code (app ) each tick, and upgrades the indior window, or activates alarms, etc.. RSI, MACD, moving averages, etc. are examples of indiors.
An EA is a little more sophistied. The program starts on each tick, runs to a stopping point, and basically has control of the account. It can be programmed to utilize numerous indiors, price action, time of day, and almost any logic you can come up with, to put on transactions, take profits, move stops, etc.. It's a robot, so to speak, that implements a trading platform as programmed.
