    Hello people.

Im currently using fxsol.com broker and discovered this new broker northfinance.com, the obtained 500:1 leverage and spread on eur/usd is two pips which is better compared to fxsol broker, therefore I am wondering if anybody had this broker or if anybody knows anything about this broker.

I would love to know your honest opinion.

    Enjoy your help.

Been with them since 2006. No slippage except once long time back and it had been like 6 pips. Tried to raise spreads during news for some time then stopped doing that. Connection difficulty solved. Heard once a rumour and withdrew all my money, then moved and deposited. A pal of mine had been trading FOMC rate decision without a SL, he could not close his stance although it moved in profit, it ended up eating his entire account, he e-mailed themthey shut it in 0 profit. I have been trading the identical report but with a SL and could not close , market ended up hitting my SL, I also e-mailed them and they shut my positon in 0 profit. I once had a goal hit but position didn't close, and moved another way, I e-mailed them and they gave me back all the profit. 2 disadvantages: 10 pip minimum stop-loss, take profit, entrance. You can't close a position through news no matter what, however you can move stoploss.

I'm using demo account together with NF. Everytime I use their live chat assistance, the rep. never answers my question and provides me an email address to send my question to. Throughout the previous chat session, the rep. gave me the exact email address for NF support, revenue, and information and said for me to select one. I asked which one, and he explained that my email will be forwarded to the technical department. I asked why not give me the email address of the technical department, and he said that's only given to non-demo account holders!

I truly love everybody for their opinions about your experience with this particular broker. I am current user of fxsol broker and why I was interested in northfinance is their leverage 500:1 made me curious about.

Just be aware that leverage could kill you.

I've trader with NF that was my 2nd broker after I ditch FXCM....

At first they were practically equal with FXCM. . .disconnection, enormous spread throughout high volatility and the list continues. . .im kinda sorrow to choose this broker. . .but I remained...

but. . .they keep on improving their servers and their customer support is top notch aside from the english stuff... okay they're nonetheless retail brokers. . .slippage spread widen bla bla. . .but on an acceptable level..spread widen no longer than 3 pips. . .usually 1-2 only... customer service quickly and will direct to the manager incharge if I asked them to do so... disconnection... few occasions in a month throughout news..but only for less than a second... usually during high volatility. . .but they improved a lot during NFP...

the only concern now is the e-gold problem... they take e-gold for funding purpose but im afraid due to the newest e-gold issue that might impact NF itself... although im using cable TT... its all depends... im planning to start another account at a different broker but wont ditch NF since they functioned well up to now... 7 out of 10. .

well. . .im just afraid bout the egold issue... hope it will influence NF if egold goes . . Coz something for sure NF isn't controlled to any global board but they maintained they controlled locally (russia)

    only my 2 pips

They could steal all there client's cash and walk out the back door and there won't be nobody there to stop them.

Just like Refco, the largest broker of all of them?
In the end, you can not ever be guaranteed safe return of your cash from any broker, controlled or not.
