Thread: Boston Technology MT4 platform

    I did know a few other groups who traveled down that exact same BT-MT4 street and ended up using their prime clearing relations/credits and huge Legal issues with CFTC and their customers perform to the bugs in their so called (STP) solution.

    Why do you believe FXCM Should move all their BT-MT4 accounts to UK,,, hmmm

    Hi Tom

    FXCM is moving MT4 accounts to FXCM UK due to how FIFO will impact expert advisors. Allowing our traders to utilize expert advisors was one of the big reasons we chose to start MT4.

    I know that lots of brokers have been announcing their solution for MT4 FIFO compliance, but each alternative has individual quirks that will require an EA to be re-coded in almost every circumstance. Some brokers are allowing you to close positions non-FIFO as long as you're precisely the same size positions. Some let hedging intraday but close the hedged trades in FIFO order at the conclusion of the trading day. Some seem to keep a different back office report than that which the trader is actually seeing in their platform. Some are using the Metaquotes alternative closing positions strictly by FIFO. And the list goes on.

    The only way we could be sure that everyones' EA will keep on operating as it has been without modifiion would be to offer it through FXCM UK.

    O yea, it#8217;s FOF OK particularly if one of the paid authors should I say #8220;spinster PR men #8221; sees so!!

    Exactly what a joke FXCM has army of bloggers loing sites and turning and post the truth into deceptive positives for FXCM. Wasn#8217;t this NFA issued warning of the issue?

    There is not much use in speculating if you can get an answer straight from an FXCM worker. That is what I am here for.

    That is the equivalent of asking the used car sales person if the cars your searching is a good buy.

    OK Jason Ill bite, can you explain why and who the NAF warning in my previous post was led to? And just how many blogger s dose FXCM employ and if the forums here will enable links to their so called blogsgt;

    The warning was delivered to all Forex Dealer Members; nonetheless, the message was intended to make it clear rule 2-43 doesn't prohibit the use of stops and limits.

    FXCM advertises on sites and forums; however, we currently do not use any. It would be disclosed, if we did. I believe we had the same discussion previously in July https://forexintuitive.com/cryptocur...notifiion.html.

    Hi Tom,

    The name you referenced was not made by FXCM. If you would like to view where we left the official posting it is on LinkedIn in the Europe Jobs group http://www.linkedin.com/groupAnswers...8964236947_5_1.

    FX Street re-posted the listing on their website also with their own name. http://www.fxstreet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52238 .
