Thank you for the update Sarama. I had been very curious as to what was going on. Never had the problem myself, but I'm always curious to hear firsthand what is going on with other people who also have fxcm

I also had a issue with their micro account when they first opened them. My roll payments were off on a division by 10 error. But thats been fixed for a couple weeks now. So far all's well.

Its amazing that you guys deal with these issues and then continue to remain together with your brokers. Its just insane.

So far out of the three brokers I've been using their micro account has ever been the best for me personally. Their spreads actually go into the negative, as far as -1.5pips for the EUR/JPY. So that's what I get paid once I get in the position. Very simple to scalp that manner. As for the roll problem they were very good about caring for it. It was a problem when they were rolling out the new accounts. They had it mended that week and they reimbursed me that the complete amount extra for the inconveniance. So no, I'm very very pleased with them so far. If I do ever have a problem I will make sure to post it, so others understand.

What would you mean with this? Is this possible? Are you talking about getting unwanted pips by arbing distinct platforms?

Negative spread lol. I don't think so, is this guy for real? I've been with them for a while and I have never seen adverse spread on eur/jpy lol.

However, this thread is about execution of trades on the fxcm platform.
So lets keep it on topic.

Last thursday I was able to get out and in about 6 times just to create 10 pips or about the disperse. Usually takes place in the session off hours after roll payments.

exactly. . .it is like taking a shot at a bookie if they post the incorrect lines. If you see pats 10.5 vs giants duing the superbowl, do you take a shot at the poor line? You might get away with it, however, the bookie/dealer won't be happy. You might get your bet cancelled.
