Yes, that's accurate. There are a few brokers that just clump up 3 times. I did well on the roll and I'm with MG. It is sort of funny, as my rollover time occurs at 13:00 my period on Wendesday and occasionally it makes more sense to open a trade on Wednesday in 12:55 and then close it in 13:01, when there's a large differential in my favor and it's bigger than my spread. It is similar to a free lunch literally. I have lunch in my broker.

My broker simply allows favorable rollover on 25k or larger accounts, however. So that I cannot do it. It is interesting when it happens though...

Of course the corollary of the free lunch is when the deferential is against me. If I did that trade, I'd be buying them lunch. I only do the silly trade sometimes, when the market is dead. No movement is best and the bigger the dif the better. I understand I am not going to retire on it, it just kinda cracks me up.

It is extract from that article. Doesn't interest rate increase growth?

    Extract:
In case you're not knowledgeable about how interest payments work, it is straightforward. Each currency yields a certain amount of interest, as determined by the monetary policy manufacturers of each nation or countries represented by the currency. Policy makers raise these interest rates to attempt and stimulate growth, and they lower them to slow growth and battle inflation.

The payoff takes 2 days. . .When you start a trade on Monday, it settles on following the end of Wednesday, and when you start a trade on Tuesday, it settles on following the end of Thursday...

After you start a trade on Wednesday, it is going to pay actually following the market closes on friday, so it is going to take another 2 days of vaion, additional, so you're either billed the interest rate of the Saturday Sunday or you gain them....That's why on Wednesday, rollovers are 3 times the regular times, accounting for the additional 2 days of the weekend. . .That's exactly what I understand at...

    Thanks,

Aha, I thought so too, but wasn't convinced

As spot Forex bargains have value date following two weeks, So if you trade on Wednesday it'll be appreciated on Monday So you get 3 times longer.

    Hi mark7 07,

I utilize forex.com as one of my brokers and that I also utilize FXDD. I like them both but so far as depositing money and customer service I'd rate Forex.com better compared to FXDD but with Forex.com I am not too mad about their charts that I like the MT4 platform better which FXDD offers. I like Forex.com and that I mostly do my trading with them but I use the charts above at FXDD but I think it's only a matter of opinion. I hope this is of any help. . . .Valerie...
