you're over looking a major consideration....

MT is a broker alternative so that your target market isn't the retail client it's the brokers, what can you offer them that will produce a substantial enough proportion of them write their present facilities and start again using an alternative platform?

If you are seriously interested in providing a better retail platform, then miss the broker alternative out and produce a solution that will use the big brokers API services. This way your system won't require brokers to sign up etc. development costs will be reduced since you can concentrate only on the front end, faster and easier to market, market straight to end-user etc....

You certain you thought this through, because asking onforexintuitiveis kind of a noddy place to start

If you like cTrader, have a look at ProTrader3. It's where cTrader will be in about 5 decades, and also what MT5 should have been.

    Dearforexintuitivereaders,

Interesting thread. 1st of all, let me introduce myself as I am a new members here today My name Andrius and I am out of Vilnius Lietuva.
I have been working with MetaTrader 4 company many years ago (multiple company) and I know everything about MetaTrader 4 and 4 trading platform on both sides, broker and trader side.

1st of all, today I will describe it to you the actual cost for a broker with MetaTrader 4 permit. The price of Metaquotes permit $100,000 but you can find a little extra discount if you know how to negotiable together with price around $80,000 or if you are great and love talked individual, perhaps you will get with price $70,000 . You may make the payment by 1 shot or arrange the payments 5 or 6 occasions. Monthly commnts payment to Metaquotes is roughly $2250 (MetaTrader 4 platform $1500 cellular 750).

As soon as you've got the permit, you can setup unlimited white tag but of course together with the price. Every white tag will cost $5000 (1 time fee) and $1000 or $1500 monthly commnts rely on trading platform package you select.

MetaTrader white tag can be found at all brokerage company who offered MetaTrader 4 platform. Ask me if you want any extra knowledge about MetaTrader 4 platform.

Thank you and have a great day.

cTrader platform is not standalone platform. CTrader is truly ECN platform in which it can't be operate without link to liquidity provider. To be fair about cTrader putting MetaTrader platform, I think is still too much for today.

I utilize MT4 for several years and I should say there is a HUGE NEED in new platform. That new platform must have all great things that we have in MT4 and should be:Open source - which means top level of safety (who knows what we have in that proprietary code?) May run on open source operating systems (safety again) Cheaper for brokers Marketplace for EA and indiors programmers More versatile for traders Must have greater policies in service, listening to trader needs and development rate
So to create such appliions we need a fund that will be financed by some kind of brokers association or by sales of terminals to traders and commissions from marketplace.

And I don't think we rather late to the party, because this action is going to be on the next level of organization that seems to be very evolutionary.

100,000 to get a license and an extra 30 for some addons. MT is not the trading platform. I've been studying here and there about complaints from brokers towards Meta Quotes for the simple fact that they continue limiting the brokers to boost their own license by creating addons. For examle you aren't allowed to create your own mobile trader as you need to purchase from Meta Quotes. Who knows what other standard things you can not develop.

In regards to other platforms, let's not call them choices, they are good bargains. For instance I've been studying about cTrader but it's very much ECN platform. Have a look at Vertex FX for instance. You've got many characteristics that could cost you tens of thousands with Meta Trader.

Those complains raised by the brokers to get sure don't come from no where. Check this thread https://forexintuitive.com/cryptocur...ssover-ea.html

I mean everybody is escaping from them due to terrible support, since you continue paying and over all it costs much. People would say it worth everything you pay for! If I will have to agree with you, what about other attributes I need to pay for which exist in other platforms for free and even built in (maybe not addons)?

This guy knows what he is talking about. Unfortunately for Americans it doesnt matter as Retail Forex in USA is almost extinct. Just like the American middle class.

It isn't feasible to crack MT4 as a lot of their resources nevertheless work from their own server (and not the broker servers). You can research White Label solutions from brokers or technology companies who already have an MT4 server.

MetaQuotes costs $5,000 for every White Label and $1000 a month for technology maintenance (But it must come via a broker who already has MT4 server).

Personally I think you should Find a White Label from a technology supplier and NOT from a broker. Since there is a huge conflict of interest (for instance, your client data, flexibility of moving your WL from the broker, flexibility involving A Novel and B publiion, third party liquidity options etc., etc..)

The best three providers that I know of are

    1) Gold-i (quite expensive): http://www.gold-i.com

    2) TurnkeyFX (Really good and probably the least expensive and most flexible supplier I have come across) : http://www.turnkeyfx.com

    3) T4B (good and quite accommodative but slightly more expensive than typical) : http://www.t4b.com

Do share if you have had a better experience with a different supplier so far.
