Thread: FX vs Pepperstone

This thread has been made on the back end of alot of horror stories I have been studying about FX. I have an account with Pepper and , my account is profitable and not a part of my principal account, nevertheless using 15k usd held in the account it's still very much a sizeable sum to be worried about.
I use both Pepper and as a sort of money earning money side venture into my very own chief s and d trading that I run via a favorite Swiss broker.

My worries arouse once I heard about a particular fellow called Reza Mokhtarian. Reading up with this guy, only took 5 mins to find out the sort of guy he is, probably the pinnacle and definition of a scammer. Anyhow, he is only an IB, so that I thought not a really a problem till I come across this.

We've directly on site, a whole page dedied to this disgusting person. With him sitting smugly in a costly chair, using a gold watch.

Further study shown many dis-satisfied clients, which range from profitable trades being cancelled to funds being withheld. Currently with any review study I really do allow for some leway from the fact some folks are annoyed they dropped in say a Brexit trade because of volitility and such. But there are just too many negative reviews to let me ignore them all for this reason.

What I am asking here I guess is, any traders here who always profit AND always withdraw from FX for lots of years. If you're going to some reassurance. Like I said the account is quite profitable, and also the final thing I need is to lose this sum of cash for any reason.

I really do have an account with Pepps but that I don't have one with Fx.

If I did have one, I would definitely not allow other people's opinions override my experience.
Life has taught me that each and every time I allow somebody else affect my decision in any place, I loathed it.

Sorry if my post does not help you.

Could you elaborate on the specific reasons picking FX as one of your brokers in the beginning?

Generally speaking I can only encourage you to diversify your portfolio by over two brokers.
The feeling you have about this picture is sufficient to reduce your portfolio.

Although I can not help you directly, I may tell you that my whole portfolio (I am profitable for several decades meanwhile) is spread along over 10 different brokers - and FX is NOT part of this. .

I assume Fx utilizes A and B-booking , therefore scammers like Reza can quickly increase profit of broker. I believe there's nothing wrong with blended brokerage model if broker does not cheat and only segregate profitable and losing customers just to increase personal profits. For instance if trader loses for months is b-booked, however if he gets experienced and begins to make broker can switch him to a-book and earn only on commission. However, because of this kind of promotional effort of Fx I've never got them opportunity.

I do also have accounts with Pepperstone, a few other people and my main paying the bills and luxury manual account at Dukascopy, very expensive commissions, but exceptionally excellent service with protection of high funds.

I combined FX initially because of diversifying my funds to automatic trading, money makes money type of egy, while my manual trading is focused in Dukascopy. FX was selected because of it's server in London and superior commission fees they supply. I have made several withdrawals from them because joining, and to be honest I have had the cash within 2-3 days from request of funds, whether it be a $200 withdrawal or a $12,000 withdrawal. I do not really want to depart as personally I have not had difficulties with them, I'm profitable consistently there, and withdraw regularly. But what I have discovered over the past couple days still has me worried. If it is a portion of the portfolio.

Well, if you're concerned to the point of starting a thread, why not just move the money elsewhere and free your head?

I also trade with FX and have asked the exact same question regarding their affiliation with Reza in the past. After talking directly to , my judgment is that the relationship is simply a regular IB relationship. Reza is a scumbag, but what do you want? If his customers are not likely to FX then they're likely to an unregulated bucketshop in Belize. At least here his hoards of blind followers have a chance when they watch the light and opt to learn how to trade themself.

To me, this is all that matters. Strong regulation, cheap comms, comparable spreads and the ability to not have to worry about battling to withdraw my money.

These are the points that I cant mistake FX for and why I am happy to ignore the Reza crap they market.
