ECN vs futures

Is ECN the best way to trade forex? Maybe better compared to MM:s. But better than forex futures? To exchange 1 standardlot with ECN the commission are approximately $13,4 - to trade 1 contract Euro FX, costs about $ 5 in commission. The spread for ECN and Euro FX are about the same, but the commission to exchange ECN are greater. So trade ECN instead of forex futures?

If you only want to exchange Euro-FX and Yen futures, I would concur. Good fee-structure, highly liquid, and also the interest is 100% priced in, whereas on place the broker usually requires a cut there also.
