This is great task ahed of you, great to see that someone is trying something outside conventional money management principles

what are the biggest drawbacks, how can you try to protect yourself from losing your acc??

What type of system do you use - more mechanical or discretionary??

    Good luck

Truly money management is a big portion of my system. If I'm going long/short for more trading times I want to have the ability to float with all the ups and downs nevertheless get as big a return as I can. The most I've had in play was roughly (Gasp!) 50% account worth and a SL that would have only cost the account $30 (10%) if it triggered. It would take a while to make up however that I could weather the drop.

    Here's the update for 1/31/2008.
Down 1.11percent to the day, up 41.92% total averaging 4.54percent every day, 8 trading days.
4k long last night, missed TP by .0013, hit the SL, all before I awakened.

No other transactions now. After consulting the charts (looked like a compass in a magnetic storm), the crystal ball (only snow) and the magic 8 ball (all it said was Ask again, Potential cloudy and Response ), I walked away to the day. From what I have seen in some of the forums, could be the cleverest trade I ever made.

    EUR/USD the pair of choice.
