Thread: 4-6 Instances of MT4

    Hello Men,

At any 1 time that I operate 4 - 6 instances of MT4. Occasionally one or more begins to slow down, therefore I like to maintain a watch on the Windows Task Manager - the only issue is they all show up as'terminal.exe'.

Is there some way I can re-name them I can identify them at the list?

    Thanks ahead of time...

    OK, only a quick update...

there's a simple way to run several instances of MT4 from the same broker - and to re-name them so you can keep an eye on them if they are dragging on the CPU. Won't bother posting details unless someone requests.

How are you keeping your experts folder in sync across the various MT4s? I've two MT4s on my home PC (different brokers), similar amount on a second PC I use for coding/development, and then again on my VPS. Keeping the 3 servers in sync (as well as keeping the experts in sync to both MT4s on each PC) is nightmarish. I am currently doing this and'm having versioning issues.

Is there a way to utilize Dropbox/another cloud service since the backbone/central repository then have any other client/software sync to/from my Dropbox folder? I have tried moving the real experts folder from a MT4 installation into the Dropbox folder and replacing it with a shortcut instead, but then the MT4 terminal can't observe any EAcustom indics

Curious how you guys handle this!
