I actualy shorted at 1.2425 (88.6 fib), I did not expected to go that much, but I did not loose anything, get several pips profit but it's not a loss at least market was not our friend now.
I believe it's impossible to have been prepared for this..lol...I guess that it was the huge money giving themselves their end of the year christmas bonuses

Everything is possible You just have to think on your charts, not the way price behave. As I said 1.2440 was known before, so just make a commerce and make use of your sl with minimum risk Of course I don't say that's really simple, its difficult, but possible.

Lol it was somewhat frightening. The fact that it had been unexpected without a fundamental news coming out that morning is that which caught me off guard...

    Expect the unexpected. ;--RRB-

This is why people go on and on and on and on and on. . .sorry. . .about commerce size and margin requirements. How the market goes today, tomorrow and most of next week is fair.

However, a few days are like this and we need to learn how to expect'these' times and behave like every day could be like one of these. . .or bigger/faster and learn how to not only endure, but to profit from them as well.

Haven't seen such a strong random move like this with no fundamental releases behind it happen out of nowhere before though. I wasn't surprised with usdjpy dropping down some I was targetting a level about 100 pips or so above from where it ultimately went to for it to return to. The abrupt selloff was random. The move itself didn't bother me it bothered me that there was no fundamental launch. I thought something was wrong

At least two minumum, four better, two on top instead of from left to right so they are there in front of you. This way you're able to see easily where to time your entries whilst still keeping your eye to the bigger picture that will help with your own exits.

Yeah I might have to start looking into it. Can you see cnbc through the day also or have some additional source for breaking news?
