Thread: EA generates alert which continuously pops-up

It's not possible to exchange every time a popup is always taking over your display. The writer (I compensated for this EA that gives trade signals only through the alert center -- it was not cheap!) Responded to only turn the entire thing off by unclicking Live Trade making the entire thing inoperative -- but they didn't offer to refund the amount I paid. Otherwise I was highly impressed with their manual, but am now totally shocked in the code they supplied to go with the manual.

The alert was supposed to sound an audible alarm, but it never did this. Perhaps I'm lucky that it didn't. I think I'd be satisfied if it only let me check manually what was the final awake, and then stop popups once more. But for sure setting out constant alerts to the display is no good.

Instead, in addition, it appeared to be giving quite bad signals -- for example I'd have purchased a pair that it had been telling me to sell. Afterwards I had been proved right. And I saw this many places. There is no way that the alerts I saw were correctly produced accourding to ordinary technical analysis. So perhaps I just need to write this off as yet another terrible experience. Nonetheless, it is extremely disappointing, as the manual is fantastically good.

This alert issue is probably very easy to fix. Send it to me and I shall look. One more thing is whether it gives wrong signs. Then it is probably useless? Why it provides wrong signs? Doesn't it operate predicated on your egy you asked to program? Or is it that your egy that's faulty?

Please provide me ([email protected])having an email address and I'll send it to you to test. One possibility was that I left it on immediately, and by morning it could have queued a massive queue of alarms, which I was not able to cancel except one alert at a time -- by the time of another alarm had taken it's place. If I could have cancelled all outstanding alarms in one operation, I wouldn't have minded I really think it should do this itself by cancelling prior alarms when a new one was generated -- no way to go back in time to trade a previous alert anyway so that needs it after a new one comes.

As for the incorrect signs, by the time I really think beyond living the constant pop-ups, I'm not sure of this time that the pop-up I believed was issued, because there is not any time stamp for alarms (bad omission by MT4). All I could say is that I would never do a market in an uptrend. Along with also the alarm I thought must be the latest was telling me how to do just that (but maybe it was not the latest alarm, so I'll hold off on that till the pop-up problem is fixed).

Really I like the guys who wrote it. I would rather work with them to make it better over demanding a refund.
