Thread: So, what IS a successful trader?

There are more and more nevertheless most of them are not. Many people are wanting to demone significant returns and whilst this seems great, it is actually risky and harmful. This is the most successful Forex traders are those who not only generate profits, but manage to retain those profits and even multiply them.

Quite the opposite. Successful traders spend executing and monitoring trades and have more free time than anybody else.

The stereotypical'FX trader' who spends his waking hours trading the markets is an entertaining FF misconception. People here seem to cherish the aspects of trading.

No- I disagree. Majority of traders don't have any interest in its and FF' losers and wannabees. Having said that, you will find a small number of great traders that pop in to assist others - but not many. Most posters here are hoping to acquire the skills that are essential from a very small minority. But this minority is swamped by the lost lazy sellers along with the deluded.

Do you randomly move on tirades like this?

Perhaps I misunderstood your original post, but damn. Keep a lid on it, Mr Badass.

The contention is that the best traders spend almost no time trading themselves. They keep themselves busy with other things that are more rewarding.

Is dependent upon which session(s) they like to exchange. One can exchange for the NY session but see and article through the Sydney session on FF.

Stable income and interest that is great - this can be a indication of an experienced and educated trader. If you already have and deepenedyou want to watch it, the trader closes the deal under any conditions. Lows need to be closed, until they became a big minus. A patient must be enough to ride out the correction in the trend.

A trader is, in my opinion, a person who can make a profit consistently.
