The Pivot Channel does give dependable reversal signals which numbers to continuation signs (together with the HTF in view) in real time, nevertheless most of the repainting that I have seen happened after major trend changes.

The difficulty I see is that you can't faithfully back-test with it but you can exchange with it and protect yourself.

Could swap ideas, you me and anyone else interested in non time based charts. I believe those charts are the very best in mapping price and an edge could be found using them imho.
One good approach is to take the divergences at Oscillator extremes when in confluence with the upper or lower stations in REAL TIME.

The indiors do not re paint. It sounds as though your taking the signals before the finish of the candle maybe?
