Yeah, I'm not tripping yet but it shows some potential.

Checked after a hour and floating round the 1 to 2 pounds upward mark, not terrible it can take longer to go into profit. If it belongs to 20 pounds I will move the minimum equity up to break.

UsdCad seems to have more potential as a long than the eur/gbp and audcad that I opened brief so I've closed out the eur/gbp and aud cad trades for declines.

That's eurcad, gbpcad and audcad for clarity.

Additionally just closed gbpchf and audchf, the weakest links in the basket.

Only closed sgdjpy as it is doing nothing for me. Equity did hit 270 so I've moved the equity to 250 so that I have a break postion.

    Reopened Audchf too, looks sensible.

love the idea, ive tested the comparative strength basket method before with mixed results. I have traded the TMS system and a moving average cross over system. Inspired by your idea im going to try trading baskets using the tdi out of tms and also a cross of a fast and sow MA to ascertain to trade.

Setup is 4hr charts, 12 pairs, 100 pip SL on every pair, using a whole risk of 2%-2.5% on the entire basket.

    heres the first one.

Great stuff, please post your results . Are you using the equity shield ea to control complete equity profit/loss or are you treating all trades independently? Are you adding on/tweaking your baskets? At what point do you choose profit/loss?

Good to have someone working with a different entry method so we can compare benefits.

I am floating around 20 quid up at the moment, just waiting for my seventh wave to push me up a little more.

Im not familliar with all the equity shield ea, ill look into it. I handle the basket as a whole, in the event the entire basket is in profit I close the whole thingexactly the same with a negative basket, the 100 pips SL is for a worst case scenario so I dont dismiss my account. If the basket goes negative by $250 I should be doing something wrong so ill close the Entire thing manually

entered the basket 15 minutes past and currently up $50, roughly 100 pips

The ea is on the very first page, you may set it to shut all places at a established equity level above and below your current equity so efficiently it is a basket tp and sl. I enjoy it.

How are you determining when to start and shut the baskets? Do you have a target or time based?
