Thread: Sine Wave and Channel Reflection, Action/Reaction putting it all together

Something to begin the juices flowing....

Think of price action in terms of channels forming sine waves losing and gaining energy as they move, the basis of Peaks and Troughs, ABCD's and these, given the initial action can we compute the likely route and terminus of this response?

Kap I find you have been spending some time with JR, you will find some fantastic discussion.

My quest was always finding a way to confirm p2 quickly. I've always felt that there are patterns in price behavior that can assist in timing entries. ( price doesn't always offer that tell, but if patterns matched with some form of timing for a filter, the odds were in my own favor). Median line behavior (50% retrace of a channel) can been seen in various appliions, and price moves, but it had been signaling out those setups that exhibited a sine wave look, and employing the frequency to mirror future price behavior. (in layman's terms the back half of the wave should resemble in reverse (mirror) the first half - that interested me.

I viewed this concept valid with the exception of finish EW wave constructions, there the angle and timing of the previous wave not sinusoidal ought to be mirrored and seen in the present.
