Hmm this really is a good tread, just like to hear some feedback on the next,
I have been drawing on triangles, wedges etc with lines charts with shut price, it seems effective too, what do you think? Its easier to identify patterns on line charts too...

People have different drawing-ways, for me, I like to add shadows too, largely because it involves more of those swings on the market. If you're not certain, try and see if round numbers can be fit with by lines . Practice pays off
