The Economy:
I recently saw on the BBC which Iraq has grown their stock market from 12 to 60 publicly traded companies in recent months. From a shrewd investing standpoint, the risk to reward can be rather attractive. I am considering this in the investment (not trading) standpoint, where a few million Dinar today could be worth quite somewhat longer 10 to 15 years from now. The inexpensive price of Dinar make this very intriguing.
The Moral Consideration:
Is there anything wrong with buying a nation's currency that's hosting a battleground, and moving through hardship and insanity? Part of me think that buying Dinar does nothing but boost their market.... That paying Dinar only strengthens it.
The other part of me believes that I am capitalizing on a wounded dog.... I am feeding off the hardship of others. It is rather undeniable.
What do you guys think? A) Is it a fantastic investment? B) Is it unethical to perform the Dinar?
I'd really like to hear all points of view.
