Decided to close the trade for a -15 pip/-0.75% loss. I'm very unsure about what will happen next, better to be out than risk incurring any further reductions. Plus my stops were not at any significant technical degree. There are now a number of possibilites that could happen for this pair:

Total -2% loss for today, time to look for a different trade opportunity.

Perhaps it is still a diamond. My first entry point was founded on a TL that linked preceding lows from September, etc.. Maybe the market this morning has defined a new lower border not predied on any previous lows or TLs. The entry point could have been predied on a symmetrical support point as noticed on the gray line in my picture:

hoping to input diamonds ancient can be tricky. The USDX picture also threw me off, in addition to unpaid divs lower down. Anyhow, time will tell whether that diamond will nonetheless be valid or not, but the challenge of trying to enter a long trade early and deciding how to use is intriguing nonetheless.

    Good morning all,

First trade for this week, and I have decided to go for a 18.3 on EU. Recently I have been wanting to concentrate on searching for reliable places to put my SLs before inputting any trades, therefore my SLs might become larger than I would usually like, but it just means I risk less about the trade.

In this case I believe we've seen the high for today, and my stop has been placed just over it. Just like the template, price has drifted slowly in 1 direction without forming a particular pattern in a distance of 40-60 pips. All principal moves are pointing down, apart from the current, but I'm going with the current downtrend off the bead upper TL. We also have a current TL below which has multiple touches.

I'm now trading my live account, small quantities to begin with. I just don't see the benefit anymore of trading demonion, and I think I will really become more picky and a better trader by going live.

Anyhow, SL for this particular trade is 24 pips/.24% risked.

    Peace

Really should know better should not I. The top TL resembles a must reach degree. Shame I didn't set a reverse order, was after the 18.3 into the letter. Also have to pay more attention to USDX that will be more or less likely downwards for the time being. If only, if only. . .LOL

May get another opportunity at the top TL, let's see what happens. SL place will be a problem though. . .hmmm

Decided to take the EU diamond break. I originally placed my stop beneath the 1 hr bar which caused the break, price was too much from any other appropriate level. My SL was 25 pips/0.12% risked.

My SL has been moved to BE, I am just going to let the trade run to the MOT.

    Peace

Trade stopped out at BE. Sometimes that's the problem when going stops too soon. My plan kinda relied on a quicker break out from the diamond, but this is the way it goes sometimes.

Intraday comb on Swissy. Nice stop place, risk 22 pips/0.22%. Let us see how she rolls.
